seat cover clips

Am installing new seat covers on my 66. I ordered the kit from corvette central.The wire clips come in 4 different sizes and since I stripped the seats down weeks ago I have no idea wich size goes where.Anyone?

Short ones toward the rear longer to the front of the seat bottom. I think all of the seat backs are the same length and will be short.

seems like anything other than the shorter ones won't give the necessary tightness.Could this be one of those "use whatever does the job" situations since no one will dissassemble the seats to check?

The small clips on my seats are across the rear; longer ones on the sides and front.

Actually I dont use them anyway. I replace the clip with a loop of nylon twine. I have seen too many seat bottoms punctured by those metal clips. just pull them up tight and tie them off.
