Re: To Heck with this Board!
Speedvision ran both the Porsche and Ferarri shows back to back last night, pure heaven. I've seen those shows a dozen times and still watch them glued to the set like a little kid. There must be a huge support team behind the scene to get those cars in shape- crews of factory techs to make those fabulous cars perform as flawlessly as they appear. The sounds of the engines is phenomenal by itself- especially the V-12 Ferrari with open exhausts. Alain D'Cadenait gets PAID to do that show! Think of the shipping costs just to get the cars in one place- Whew! The credits run with Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits among the owners and some Italian company owning several cars......- Top

Re: To Heck with this Board!
I've watched the Ferrari show numerous times with the volume cranked up LOUD!! Mesmerizing noises from those Ferraris!! I believe Knopfler owns the 250 SWB and some excavating company owns the GTO and a couple of others. The Monterey Historics are the only place I've heard these machines in person. The Historic races at Laguna Seca are a car nuts' Mecca. But if it's not the right time of year and you're sitting in your living room in Arkansas, then Speedvision has to do!- Top

Re: To Heck with this Board!
I just started getting Speedvision a month ago. WOW! I can't believe what I've been missing! That Ferrari show was awesome! Especially when he took the yellow one (don't recognize Ferrari's, yet) for a complete circuit with the camera behind and above the driver's head. I felt like I was in the car. Can't wait to view/hear it on my buddy's $25,000 home entertainment A/V system with hs widescreen and honkin' speakers!
