Color Coded Wire

Does anyone know of a source for color coded wire? Most auto stores only carry a few standard colors, and I am trying to match up my multi-color automotive wires. Thanks...Ed

If you are looking for wire with a colored thread - as in blue w/white tracer - your only reasonable source may be wiring harnesses from the salvage yard. The link below has colored wire, perhaps more colors than your local auto store, and I believe they will produce wire in whatever color combination you want. However the minimum order may be more than you will need or want to pay.

Generally, Colors were consistant between different models of the Chevrolet line for a given year. A good bet is to spend some quality junkyard time stripping the wiring out of an old Chevy of your year, or close to it. This can be a good source of replacement wiring for most Corvette applications.
