Side exhaust and Bolt on wheels

I have a very original 1967 427/400 Airconditioned Coupe that I am interested in having judged. The car has repro bolt ons and side exhaust. While the exhaust appears original, I cannot be certain. Would you recommend putting rally wheels and a repro exhaust on the car for judging. Is there a big deduction for these items. Thanks Jim Carmain

Take it as is to a NCRS meet and have the guys there tell you what they think you have. Maybe it is original. ? Then look at the $ you saved. NCRS judging is designed to let you know what you have then you decide what you want to correct. You can return later and get another judging. It is not a one time only thing.

Look in these archives on "side pipes" for info on original vs add-on sidepipes. You can look at the car yourself after reading. I doubt if the wheels would make any difference. Most owners try to find an original spare tire and wheel.
