Started going over the 64 that I just purchased. I am replacing all the hydraulics. I want to replace the brake line from the front to the rear, very rusty. How do I remove and replace it without lifting the body. Any ideas?
Also, the inner bearing spun and ruined the left front spindle and wheel hub. If anyone has one, please let me know.
On a '64, the spindle and hub will interchange with '59-64 Chevy Passenger car. The only way to get the line in with the body on is to cut the line and splice it with tubing. If the line has rusted that badly, are you sure the frame doesn't need some help also, thus giving an excuse to pull the body?
