That's to get a better-than-new fully restored and replated carb that looks so good that you HATE to actually use it on your car.
But, when you do, the car will run as it hasn't in years and you'll have a huge smile on your face.

Get the quality rebuild/replate done. The difference is as described above- unbelievable. A warped, leaky Holley is a maddening thing to have on your car.
These are tempermental devices, I had a brand new service replacement unit on my car (tripower) for 6 months and it was already leaky when I went to put it back on the car after a year. Getting the originals redone by someone who knew what they were doing was the way to go. $250 sounds like money well spent.- Top
