This is a 107 12V ignition coil with pitted botom case from sitting in a fuelie coil bracket for many years. It has the rectangular washers with a tang that fits into one of two small holes at 12:00 o'clock and six o'clock adjacent to the terminals for the primary circuit.
There are NO rectangular "HUMPS" on either side of the high voltage terminal. The top of the coil says, "Delco Remy made in USA" as it should. By every measure it appears to be an early style 107 coil EXCEPT:
It has a brown alkylid top! ?????????????????? I've never seen this configuration. What on earth am I looking at?
Dale.
