Re: C1 Oil Filler Tube Fit

    Barry,
If you have a local machinest around or a little two or three man machine shop, ask them to chuck the filler tube in a lathe and turn down the swaged end within one or two thousands OD of the manifold whole ID. Shouldn't be too expensive for the right guy/shop. Freeze the tube and insert. Regards,

      Barry,

I had the same problem with a Zip tube I bought for my 56. I took some emery cloth, buffed the end of the tube for a few minutes, put the tube in the freezer overnight and it tapped right in the next day.

Berry, I got one for C/C and when around it with a whell grinder, it will not show after it is installed. That aluminium manifold will crack.
