Vin # search

I'm trying to locate my 1963 Corvette conv. I sold in 1995. Vin #30867S111805.
I tyied U.S.Trace with no luck. DMV is no help.
Any info of a way to search would be nice.

Do you know or remember the path it went on when you sold it. Was it to a dealer, private party what? Anybodys name come to mind? Find the state in which it went to if possible, then send a letter to that state's DMV requesting info. May cost a few buck! Someone else may have another idea.

If you have the name to who you sold the car try www.switchboard.com. When I did find the last owner of my '69 convertible before it was exported to Germany I only had his name and that he lived in the U.S. in 1989. So I did a few phone calls and the 5. call I found him.
