How do I identify what year the seats in my 63 are

The seats have custom seat covers,so stitching pattern IDing is out.
The back portion of the seat, near the top, is thick not tapered like the oringinal 63 seats and there is a plastic back on the seat like those used on 65-67's.If I took them apart would the seat foam design be a giveaway?(I hate to go this route). Is there another way??
I would like to order new seat covers but don't dare to utill I know what will fit.

Larry,

The frames for the '63 are unique compare to the other midyears in the fact that they are the only ones to have a height adjustment on the front part of the frame.

The adjustment part consists of two metal plates that are about 3" square with grooves on one side of each plate. The plates are connected with a bolt.

Also, the '63 is the only one with a thin rounded metal bar that that curves at the front end that is used to adjust the seats forward and back.
