Trim tag and ID#

I am working on a 67 conv. that was stolen from a friend in 1972. He got it back in 1973 and he is just getting it back on the road (a little slow).When he got it back the trim tag and ID#'s were gone. Do they repro them? How can we get the info that was on the trim tag {Body # )Color and trim and style no problem. We have the tank sticker and the police reports with all other #'s Where do we get them? Thanks
