What would cause a left front pull... when braking?

Most likely culprit: brake fluid leak causing saturation of the brake pads on the RIGHT front side. Second most likely culprit: brake fluid leak causing saturation of the brake pads on the RIGHT rear side.
If either of the above is the cause, then the right side caliper(s) will need to be overhauled or replaced with exchange stainless steel sleeved caliper. If the right side is replaced, front or rear, the corresponding left side caliper should also be overhauled or replaced.
ALWAYS replace the flexible brake line when servicing the caliper.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Internal collapse of rubber brake hose on the right side. The sneaky part is that there is no external visible physical evidence. In fact , lack of evidence such as fluid leaks is the "sign" to examine the rubber hose. Especially if age is a consideration. And age is a consideration for most us in this hobby - both for the cars and ouselves!- Top
