'60 Steering Wheel restore Yes or No

Having restored the interior of my car, the steering wheel is now the only thing left. Its not too bad, but compared to the shiny new interior, it looks out of place. Will I lose or gain points from an NCRS perspective if I have it restored? The metal is great, but the wheel is cracked a little but very faded and worn looking.
    Also,
any recommendations on who would be recommended do do this should I decide to do it?
    Thanks,
    Don

Email Dale Pearman. He does this sort of work but would never consider advertising such on this board.

I contacted a company that advertises in the Driveline (forgot the name). They fill all of the cracks and repaint the wheel, but their process does not put the "pebble" texture back on the wheel as original. I have not found anyone that recasts the plastic using my steel frame. If you a firm that recast, let me know.
