On my '67 one wiper blade arm has two rivets on top and the other one just has one. Which is correct? What is the best source for another correct one?

Re: wiper blade arms
Corvette used pretty unique wiper arms. You should see one lone rivet on the top upper near the end of the arm body AND a chrome slot-head adjusting screw on the side of the arm (away from the body). The adjusting screw causes the upper arm portion to 'cant' vs. the lower arm portion. This provides 'fine' adjustment to align the blades (get 'em close but prevent hitting/touching). Arms with dual rivest are typically fixed in terms of blade position....- Top

Re: wiper blade arms
That got me curious. I went out and looked at the arms on my 67 and I too have one wiper arm (driver's side) with 2 rivets on the top near the end and no adjusting screw on the side and one wiper arm (passenger side) with one rivet on the top near the end and has an adjusting screw on the side. Also the drivers side one has a cover on the underside with writing I cannot read (looks like part number and/or patent numbers) but there is no cover on the underside of the passenger side arm. Is this addressed in the TIM&JG? Thanks!

Re: wiper blade arms
Only thing that's mentioned in the current edition of the JG is the use of underside spring cover with Trico emboss. But, the other items (one vs. two rivets and side adjust screw) are well known to judges. Basically, if there are two rivets, the side adjust screw can NOT function because the arm is rigidly affixed to the lower arm case....- Top
