I have a Delco alternator part number 1105592. Can anyone tell me what make(s) and year(s)this may have come from? It looks like (not sure) that it is 94 Amps and date coded 6E20. Thanks!

It's a fairly late model alternator as evidenced by the part number and the rated output. By the date code, I'd say that it's likly for a 1986 model something or it could be a SERVICE replacement for an earlier alternator manufactured in 1986 or 1996. The GM #1105592 distributor was initially used for the 1986 model year and the one that you have is very likely a PRODUCTION unit. It was used on a wide array of GM car and truck applications across all car and truck lines for 1986, but it was NOT used for any Corvette or Camaro application.
The GM #1105592 was replaced by GM #1101308. That alternator was discontinued in July, 1999 and replaced for SERVICE by GM #10463397 which is an AC-Delco factory-remanufactured unit.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
