    BB intake manifold

I am trying to identify a manifold my neighbor gave me.It is alluminum high rise with oval ports. The only casting # is 2161 on the bottom towards the front.there are no other #s.Didnt most aftermarket companies put there name somewhere on the product?I also have a Wiend manifold that looks identical except that it has ther name on it.The only other difference is that it has a cavity on the right side[i think]that has acver bolted to it,possibly for a choke pull off?

    Andy-----

"2161" is the Edelbrock part number for a Chevrolet big block, oval port Performer manifold. This is a non-EGR manifold that uses a spread-bore, Q-Jet carb flange. It has been around for quite awhile and I THINK that it's still available.

Edelbrock manifolds, including the 2161, usually have the Edelbrock script prominently displayed on them. Perhaps, someone ground it off this one.
