    Wiring Harness Wrapping

Does anyone have any tips on rewrapping the wiring harness or the use of wrapping tape.
    Thanks

    Re: Wiring Harness Wrapping

The harnesses were hand wrapped while on a fixture, using non-adhesive vinyl tape. Tape prior to the '69 model year was 1 inch wide, '69 and up the tape was 1.3 inches wide. The harness was taped from the thickest area toward the thinnest area. short branches were loosened from the fixture at one end to improve the ease of taping. At the end of the last branch, a knot was tied to retain the tape in place.

Most of the resto houses (and Eastwood, etc.) carry the correct non-adhesive-backed harness wrapping tape.

        Thanks,
I have the correct tape, but as usual - I just didn't know where to start! And needed some good advice.
