    Alternators

    Greetings,

I own several 1969 & 1979 alternators. It appears that there is a difference in the rear casing half between the two years. The seven fins are there but there is a different spacing of the holes and in most cases the '69 has an A while the '70 has a B.

One of the '70' alternators (1100900 9K7)is on my late '69 350HP no TI no Air(738201).

Can anybody expand on the differences and the timing or meaning of the differences for me?

Look in the archives. Joe Lucia has described these alternator variations in the most detailed way imagineable.
