I'm about to replace spark plug wires on my 67 SB. Any suggestion for replacement wires, ie mfgr, type of wires, dated vs not dated.

Re: Spark Plug Wire Replacement
It really depends on your use for the car. Obviously if you are showing it at NCRS events, dated are your only real answer.
However if you are driving the car, and you are using the ignition shielding and plug shields, I would suggest Delco wiring. It is now excellent quality and will be of use for many miles. It is also easily available at most Delco part houses and is also very reasonable.- Top

Re: Spark Plug Wire Replacement
I picked up a set of dated wires for my 65 BB from Lectric Limited. Nice wires but very fragile. Handle with care.
If you don't plan on showing the car I would contact Summit Racing and go with a good quality set that is for your motor.

Re: Spark Plug Wire Replacement
If you are not going to show your car and don't mind the blue color I recommend the Moroso wires. They come packaged specific for your car and already have the molded ends ready to install. I have been using a set on my 68 for over 12 years.- Top

Re: Spark Plug Wire Replacement
Thanks for all the response. We all your input I decided that dated wires were not necessary at this time. I ended up buying AC Delco wires specfic for my 1967 Corvette. I haven't installed them yet. That will be this weekends project. I understand they could be a bear to install. If anyone has advice on installing the wires please post. Thanks again!- Top
