I have learned that the carpets for my car are supposed to be cut creating "flaps" which cover the seat rail mounting. This alows the rails to be bolred directly to the floor. I am told a gentleman named John Kennedy has drawings on how to cut these flaps, which he shared at an NCRS event, but I can't figure out how to find him. If anyone has a number, or if John is reading the forum I would appreciate any help.
I have the AIM, purchased from NCRS, along with the Judging manual. The AIM shows a picture of a cut in the carpet, with no dimensions or any detail, Is there more to the AIM than pictures and part numbers? There is very little in the area of detail in what I have. It was the Judging manual that gave me a hint of detail, calling for a flap to be cut to rest over the brakets. Any further help is welcome.
