    wiper switch sparking

When I go to use my wipers and depress the button there is a small visable spark. The wires seem to be fine ? any help is appreciated.

Check your housing that your wiper switch is mounted in if it cracked or in two parts it isn't grounding properly. I had the same problem on my 71. I brought a new housing which corrected the problem.

My neighbor's 73 had bad wipers and would often blow the fuse. When he pulled the panel he found a wire with broken insulation. That solved the fues problem but the wipers still didn't work. We found that it didn't have a good ground. Instead of tracing all of the wiring back into the dash harness, he fabricated a simple ground from the switch to another known ground. Been working well ever since.
