After continuing to talk with Dupont and PPG representatives about the Dark Blue interior paint for '64 Corvettes, I finally spoke with a contact from Dupont. He informed that the code 4462 was replaced by 4464, because one of the tints for that formula was discontinued, but then he went on to say that 4464 was discontinued for the same reason. He said that there is a '63 Dark Blue use in the passenger cars which is the current closest replacement. It is 4430 and it comes in lacquer. Hope this helps anyone painting a Daytona blue or any other color, that needs a dark blue interior.
