I ordered a couple packages (5 per package) of upper control arm camber shims from my local GM dealer part #10268933. They said that this was the SERVICE part #. They look completely different and are a fraction of the thickness of the current shims on my 68 (I need more to correct my camber). Did I get the wrong part? the parts guy said that was the only type they had. I haven't seen them reproduction?

The current SERVICE shims are, as you found, totally different in configuration than the originals. They are very functional, though. Reproduction shims of the original configuration are available from Dr. Rebuild and Bair's Corvette.In Appreciation of John Hinckley
