1968 Hood Weatherstrip

Hi:

When I got my 68 the Hood weatherstrip had been removed. I am going to replace it but the piece from Corvette Rubber is a lot longer than the hood is wide. Does it continue around towards the front along the sides??? Would anyone have a picture or diagram of where the strip ends???

John having a original owner 68 I just measured my original factory installed weatherstripping. From the tip of the hood on the drivers side using just a tape measure the end is 15 1/2 inches from this measuring point. I did not measure the passenger side.

John , the rubber turns forward at the hood corners and goes down the side towards the front about 12-18inches. Use the yellow glue.
