    weatherstrip

On a '67 convertible top, there are two screws that attach the weatherstripping near the front of each corner. What type screws are these, i.e., slot, phillips; pan head, flat head, etc. What color are they, black or silver?

They are a self tapping pan head phyllips. I think that either dark phosphate or zinc would both be acceptable. I have just done a 66 with all the original pieces including the cover and they were zinc on that one. Actually there was only one screw that went through the main body of the W/S the others were all the metal push in buttons.
