Well I pulled the nose off of my 68 yesterday and I'll tell you what, that *&//$%;{^%(( bonding adhesive is tough stuff.

Started at 9:30 A.M. and had it dangling at 4:00 P.M.

That bonding adhesive was the best. Whats out there thats as good or better these days?

I would use a product called FUSOR 100EZ. It is a two part adhesive designed for plastics on cars. It will work on fiberglass and SMC. The bonding adhesive from the 60's don't work with both. I used it on my 67 and had to reposition the left wheel housing the next day. It actually broke the fiberglass in two places rater than come apart. It should be available at most body shop supply stores. Good luck.

P.S.

Next time try using a heat gun on the area to be separated. It does help a lot.
