Where do I get mufflers for my 1965 327/300? 3943385 driver's side/ 3943386 pass. side.

Most Corvette supply companies carry the correct style muffler for your car. They list their mufflers as alluminized. Originals were galvanized steel coated. Your exhaust system was 2" diameter and there were no part numbers on original mufflers. Be sure each muffler has a small metal plate welded to the end for the rear hangar. -

You didn't say in your post, and I can't tell from the part numbers, but if your car is NOT an automatic, a 65 327/300 has 2 1/2 inch exhaust, not 2 inch.Comment

The GM SERVICE mufflers which you mention are the 2-1/2" inlet variety and would be applicable to your 327-300hp if it's a manual trans car. However, these mufflers are long-since GM discontinued and very difficult to locate. GM Restoration Parts has available mufflers under these part numbers which are licensed to Eckler's. However, the mufflers supplied are NOT exact reproductions of the originals. Externally, they are close to the originals. Internally (which determines the exhaust note), they are NOT similar to the originals.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
