John Deere "Blitz Black". You can only get it at a John Deere Dealer. About $6.50 a can. I used it on my '67.

I second the motion on the Blitz black from John Deere. Look's great.

Is it really worth the extra effort to track down the John Deere paint? I thought that Krylon SemiFlat was the closest finish / color? Has thinking / judging changed? ~Juliet

John Deere Blitz Black RULES! No comparison. Try tracking down some of that stuff with an e-mail to Dale Pearman. Instant shipping from your Blitz Black Dealer.

            RE Blitz black VS Krylon

One thing that I have found out about Blitz black compared to the Krylon is that it lay's down so smooth ( so easy to dust of with a rag, or small Calif. duster) compared to the Krylon. It also has the egg shell look to it. The Krylon does not lay down as smooth. Just my thought's and experience. john
