    Re: Quality of 67 interiors

Thanks, John for the info. Curiosity has now got the best of me. If I give a thumbnail sketch of my car, perhaps you'd have an opinion as to where I stack up survivor-wise, just for my interest.

I bought the car new; drove it as an everyday car for about seven years. Over the years, certain items had to be replaced, all with GM parts from local Chevy dealer. Last summer, I had it painted with the base-coat, clear-coat technique, original color Goodwood green. Bumpers chromed, too.

Items replaced - radiator (copper, not AL), water pump, master brake cylinder, fuel pump (as part of engine rebuild, but NOT re-bored; still 327/350hp).

Original carpets (some wear at gas pedal heel). All gauges, tach, speedo, radio, seats, etc. original as delivered. Interior compartment is in excellent shape. Alternator, spark plug shields, air cleaner cover same. Did I forget anything? 76K miles.

I don't have a desire to 'show' it; I just want to feel good when people say "that's a good looking car". I'm motivated to have a nice looking, good running car to tour around. Top down, radio on, go thru-the-gears...just like before.

    Appreciate your time and opinion.
