What kind of deduction would one get with a master cylinder that has the correct casting number, correct bleeders, correct finish, correct bails and cap -- bu no "DC" stamp? Car in question is a 67. Thanks.

I think that the deduction would be relatively small. However, if you have all of the elements of correct configuration, why not just add the "DC" stamp on the front machined surface? Very simple to do.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I think that the non-stamped master cylinders were usually SERVICE parts. For SERVICE, no broadcast code was necessary although many SERVICE master cylinders do have them.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
