To make sure I don't confuse myself or anyone else, I do mean the knuckle (spindle) which attaches to the ball joints not the steering arm. I've got this assembly apart and was going to start cleaning up the parts when I noticed that there is no casting number on the spindles do indicate right or left. They appear to be identical but before I mix them up I thought I would see if anyone could confirm that.
The steering knuckle (or front spindle) is the same for both sides; they are not side-specific. This is the case for 63-67, 68, and 69-82 steering knuckles.
