    Back-up lights Wiring Clip

There is a wire pair, which I believe is going to the back-up lights, running down the firewall and connects to the transmission. It is currently attached at the firewall and at the transmission, but just hanging loose, not connected to any clip or attachment along the way. Where does it attach to the body/frame and what type clips are used?

You didn't specify the year, but on a '65 at least one and possibly two vinyl dipped metal clips are pop rivited to the side of the transmission tunnel to keep the wiring out of harms way. The probably show up on the assembly manual as an add for the option (pre-66) and in the wiring section for later cars. There should be holes visible on a close inspection of the underside of the trans tunnel on the driver's side.

Mine is a 67 SB. Does the same answer apply? Thanks.

I believe so, except the info will be in the primary electrical section of the assy manual, instead of the options section. The rivits may also be solid, but you would have to check the rivit part number from '65 and '67 to check that out, and my '65 manual is currently out on loan with my car.
