    Voltage regulator capacitor question

My 67 Judging Guide says that the voltage regulator capacitor has a black wire with an off-white connector and orange fiber cap on one end and the part number (can't remember the number), "DR" and "5MF" on the other end. The one on my car exactly fits that description except that there is no part number on the one end. Is this correct or do I have a replacement or what? Thanks in advance.

Nick - I'd expect the capacitor to have 1964086 and .5MF stamped around the bottom face of the can and DR stamped in the center of the bottom face. Pete
