    Vacuum Advance

I need to replace the vacuum advance on a '67 SB 350 HP, with a 9/66 build date. The info from Paragon says to be sure I select the correct one. The way I read the info it looks like the correct replacement would be embossed with #236. Is this the correct unit?

If we are looking at a 1111196 dist, the '236 would be the correct unit-specs are 0 degrees at 4 inches, 16 degrees at 7 inches (Crank Degrees)

I wonder how many people have a distributor machine for doing the older point distributors sitting around in the shop? I bought an older Sun machine just to do my own stuff. It's been years since I have seen one in a shop any place.

But don't fear, there is no doubt some place you can send your unit to the specializes in "Corvette" work and pay at least triple what it is worth.

Varoom and myself, and more than a few others have ancient equipment available.

Wally...I've got two of those machines for sale if you know anyone who's looking for one. They are "King" machines, one in working order, the other would need very little to make it good.
