    Removal of chrome/stainless windshield trim

Can any one provide any tips regarding the removal of the upper chrome trim on a 68 roadster (convertble)? Do you have to remove the windshield to get to the screws in the upper corner trim pieces? I want to have mine replated. Also how do you remove the upper piece of trim on the window? It looks like it just pulls out but I thing the mastic behind it is binding it. Any removal tricks???

Thanks as always to all, John

I have a similar problem with my 68 roadster. I concluded that the windshield has to come out to get at the screws holding the corner pieces, but I haven't done anything with it yet, so I can't offer any advice based on first hand experience.
