    Replacement Carpet for early 70's

I am seeking opinions on replacement carpet for an early 70's Corvette. I am most concerned about the fit. Your thoughts and comments on various brands, and would be greatly welcome. I am currently looking at the ACC product, and the Romeo Engineering product.

    Thank you,
    Bob

    Bob,

Unless you've got black, request a sample of the carpet from each vendor. I found out that what ACC calls blue doesn't match the ACC product that Corvette America sells as blue (CorvAm specs their own color which is different), which doesn't match the Al Knoch blue, which doesn't match the ... well you get the picture. I'm taking samples to another 71 with an all-original interior to find out what I really need, but unfortunately after I already have carpet purchased.

That aside, I've used Al Knoch and ACC before, and found the ACC a little easier to use.

    Good luck!

I used black Al Knoch carpet on my 66 and I was quite happy with the quality, fit and appearance. Side by side with my original, it appeared to be a perfect match.

Bob, Romeo carpet is the best I've seen, logo, fit and all.
