Can anyone help me with what are the recommended lubricants for the steering box, T-10 transmission and posi differential of my 62?

I'm sure you'll get more than one answer, but I'll tell you what works for me in my '57. Joe has the part number for the steering box lube, but I use ordinary chassis grease per a 1958 Chevy Service Bulletin which directed dealers to drain the factory lube and use chassis grease instead of the specified (thinner) lube which caused a lot of steering box leak warranty due to the effects of radiated heat from the exhaust manifold. I use ordinary brand-name (Valvoline) 80W90 gear lube in my T-10 and in my Posi diff, with two 4-oz. bottles of GM Posi additive in the diff.- Top
