'68 Stuck Hood (No Cockpit release cable)

    '68 Stuck Hood (No Cockpit release cable)

    The hood release cable is missing from my vette but in order to begin my restoration project I need (of course) to release the hood. It's securely closed right now with no apparent way of releasing it! Anyone know the best way to pop the hood without using the missing cable with a minimum of damage? Thanks!
