1972 power steering pump restoration

I have a two part question, the first being does anyone know of a place
to have my power steering pump restored? The second question involves
my ignition system. I have a 72 LT-1 and I would like to know if it was
supposed to come with transistor ignition or if it was an option? If
it did come with it how can I tell if I still have it?

I believe that Corvette Steering Service can rebuild your original power steering pump. Look them up at www.corvettesteering.com

As far as TI ignition goes, your 1972 LT-1 most assuredly did not have it. 1971 was the last year that TI ignition was used on any Corvette. TI was a 1964-71 "phenomenon".
