      Michael,

      go to public data .com.You will need to join the service for about 25 dollars a year.If you have any problems,or just dont want to join,e-mail me the v.i.n and i will see what i can find.Due to different states having different privacy laws not all states are accessible.

              make friends with your local police and they can get it for you.

                              Michael, Do you have a car dealer friend? Most dealers in the used car dept have a link to look up any car by vin etc.nation wide. They have to check all trade-ins.

                                      Going to the local Chevy Used Car Dealer and asking them to check an old VIN hasn't worked for me. I've been told when the records are over 10 years old the dealer dumps them. I have research my car back to 1978. The 1978 owner will not help. I believe the car brings back bad memories and he doesn't want to talk about it. I don't know how to get around him. I believe he may be the original owner but I don't know how to confirm. I'm so close. Any suggestions?

                                              This "Public Data.com" works for ten states what can you do in the rest of the stares?
