    hi preformance gaskets

thanks for the feedback on the head gaskets Is there a place to get a high performace kit of gaskets?
Is there a particular intake gasket/ exhaust manifold that one could recommend?
I have seen recomendations for Eastwoods manifold dressing any tips for applications or other recomendations?
    thanks in advance

    Fel-Pro High Performance Gaskets

    Jimmy,

The Fel-Pro number for the kit is (through Summit) FPP-2802. This will come with the head gaskets you want as well as very good intake gaskets.

Your car did not originally come with exhaust manifold gaskets and many will tell you not to use them. The Fel-Pro kit comes with them, but to hide them behind the manifold you will have to cut/trim them to fit exactly between the manifold and block.

The intake gaskets are shaped slightly differently than the original intake gaskets. They are slightly thicker, but IMO that makes them better for a used engine. For perfection in appearance, you can trim these too to match the exact shape between the intake ports so that they have a little "tab" rather than going straight across. One look at an original for comparison and you'll understand.

Summit is www.summitracing.com . You can use others; this is just where I go.
