Thankx Jack, I'm right for the challenge. Time seems to pass so quickly these days. Driving this vette reminds me of days past. Only then it was a 64 Chevelle Super Sport. Looking back, Thank you, along with all the other postmen for greeting me into this thrilling world of Corvettes.

assume that you feel STRONGLY about first year cars. If you don't want that 63 coupe Jack, I know a guy in Pittsburgh that will take it off your hands along with that unmolested LS5.

I do not know what I did to deserve you continued support, but I do appreciate your loyalty. If all my customers were as satisfied as you, I would need a much larger hat. It is not making more sales that matters to me this point in my career. Your positive support does stroke my ego however. Please don't let my head get too big. I won't be able to get a gold chain over it.
Please do not hesitate to call upon me should you ever require any assistance, Corvette or otherwise. Whenever you are in my neighborhood, I truly hope you have time to visit. I enjoy sharing my Corvette good fortune with friends and have become a pretty good cook also. At least my wife is pleased. Thank you again and again for all your gracious comments.

Many, many years ago while I was going to college for the sake of a future career, I was working for Safeway Stores as a food clerk for "spending money" and to support my cars. During this time I had, for 3-1/2 years, the pleasure of working in the same store as a meat department manager by the name of George Lambton. George was a colorful, glib, old-timer from Oklahoma. George used to always call me by the name "River City Joe".
This went on for years before, one day, I finally asked him why he called me by that monicker. George said: "Joe, the folks in River City tell it the way it is, and you tell it the way it is. That's why I call you River City Joe."
I've always considered it one of the greatest compliments that I've ever been paid, and I've never forgotten it. Also, I've always tried to live up to it and I continue to this very day. It's easy because it's in my nature. So, that's all I'm doing----telling it like it is.
