    Source for A Arm Bushings

It is now apparent that I cannot put off the front suspension work on my 67 coupe any longer. Does anyone know a source for the original style a arm bushings branded "Harris" with the rubber protuding on both ends? About three weeks ago Joe Lucia mentioned in a post that Art Dorsett of Van Steel in Florida may have made arrangements to obtain these. Does anyone know how I can contact Art? Any other sources that anyone else may have used? I have seen the correct lower bushings on ebay, but not the correct uppers.

I bought my upper A arm bushings for the 67 camaro on ebay. I believe the Corvettes are the same as the Camaros. I have seen them since so keep searching and you will find them. They will run $60 to $100 for the four.

The correct lower bushings are still available from GM under GM #3714368. It's the upper bushings that you have to go elsewhere for if you want the correct, exactly original configuration.

You can obtain contact information for Art Dorsett through VanSteel's web-site at www.vansteel.com. Let us know what you find out; I'd like to know where they're at on this myself.

LI Corvette's current catalog does list a set of upper A-arm Bushings "with inner rubber ring" for $60.00. I'll check with Van Steel and report back with a new post. Appreciate all the help.

Jeff, I was referring to the bushings that are pressed into the A-arms on the engine side. Are you referring to the ball joints? Doc Rebuild sells original ball joints for both the upper and lower A-arms.
