Can anyone direct me to see pics of a 63 coupe w/saddle tan inside and out. Also, I found my vin plate to match my engine number, although I can't decipher the casting date. F0204sc757. Flint....? My manuals haven't arrived yet. I'm just getting started. Is it common to have so many parts different from what came original. I.E. my dash pads are red underneath the rootbeer brown, but my doors and seats are saddle tan. Thankx

Re: 63swc Pics
I have a 63 roadster. Very similar to the coup. I just redid my interior in saddle. My dash pads were also stained dark brown in an attempt to match the saddle interior. These cars are almost 40 years old and alot of changes may have been made. To check for the original color of the interior look at the plate mounted under the glove box. It will have a code number for the original interior color and exterior color. Saddle exterior color was code 932. I believe 490E is a saddle coupe interior. The engine code you listed is Feb 4, 1963 Flint made 327 250HP. If you check the serial number of your car also located on a plate under the glove box the ending of the number should be between 107976 and 109814 which means the car was manufactured sometime between Jan 1 and Feb 28. I have some pictures of my interior if you would like I could e-mail them to you. There are a lot of one year only parts in a 63.- Top

Re: 63swc Pics
Adjacent to the "F0204SC" engine plant stamp, there should be another number stamped in a smaller font, like "3SXXXXXX", where the "X"'s are the last six digits of the car's VIN number, on the plate below the glove box; the "3" is for 1963 model year, and the "S" is for St. Louis. This was stamped in the assembly plant, and the same VIN derivative number stamp will appear on the main case of your transmission.- Top
