Original or Replacement hoses for 67' bigblock

Who supplies the most accurate replacement hoses for a 67' 427? I am looking for the radiator (upper and lower), water pump, etc...

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Rob,

For most of the hoses, there are only one or two manufacturing sources, and the rest buy from them. So, it is a matter of price from there.

just make sure that the bottom hose has the coiled wire support in it or it will be sucked shut by the water pump causing overheating.

Thanks Clem. Are there repo bottom hoses out there without the coil? I'll keep it mind for sure.

                Thanks again,

                    Rob -

There are LOTS of repro and replacement lower hoses out there without the spring, and lots of parts guys that will tell you they aren't necessary - they're wrong.

john the first BB engine i built for a customer in 66 for a dirt track car had a heat problem so i went and had a looksee. what i found was a universal bottom hose that had a the wire molded into the hose but the hose was full size on both ends but was only about 1 1/4" diameter in main body of the hose restricting water flow. a stock chevy molded bottom hose fixed the problem.
