What you say is exactly correct. Additionally, I was the last car to comlete judging for the meet and the mechanical team was the last of my judging. Everyone was waiting around for me to get done so they could pass out awards. I wish I had more time but I did not due to the circumstances. All that said -- the meet was still a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I am merely trying to fix what appears to be not correct and grab an extra point or two.

Re: John, are you using incorrect pop rivets?

Well - it appears that this is the problem. I think I do have the worng rivets both on the sidepipe brackets and the grille. LICS has the sidepipe rivets I need to check for the grille. Thanks to all who contributed.

John, not only is there a "correct" style of rivet but a proper direction that they are installed. Just one other point that no one has touched on! Good luck.
