    Frame horns

The 68's are the only shark car that has front horns like the midyears. The inner and outer horn parts are available from Long Island and other suppliers, and I believe they can be welded on to modify a later frame to fit. The cost is about $200 for all four pieces. You may need to do some other modifications to get all the bolt holes correct, but its worth checking into.

        Re: NO GO

        I say NO go...with a raw 69-72 frame.
You would have to do the modifications, that others are talking about.
        I'll send you pics...of a 68 front frame horns...with the extra holes.
I put a 70-71 frame on my 68, no fit.
Currently rebuilding a 68 frame to fix this problem...
I figured if I am going for a correct car. I might as well do it right.
And the car starts with the frame. You have one time to do this. I figure if I have the car painted, thats $3-5,000 that I don't have to take back off.
Unfortunatly, I have to redo a whole new frame. no big deal though.
        I'll get you pics...of a 68 only frame.
