I have a "72 convertible driver with just lap belts and would like to add shoulder belts. I do not want to do too much modification as this is an 80% original car. Would a roll bar with a 3 point belt be availible or can the seat backs be changed to accept a shoulder belt?

Re: Shoulder Belts for my '72
Your seat backs may have the parts inside that you need or they may not be their I have seen them both ways and they bolt on. The chrome on the front could be changed. You would need the trim for the back also. I would try to find 2 complete seats at a swap meet with the seat belt slots which should be easy as all coupes had the shoulder belts. Then remove the parts you need and install them in your seats. This may cost less and you will have all the parts.Lyle
