56 I need size of elec top toggle switch link

I'm just finishing up a 56 restoration and am missing the link that goes between the toggle switch (on the passengers side)to the eyelet on the top bow.
I need to make a new one and need to know the exact dimensions of this part. I don't believe this part is available because it is an electric top part and 56 only. The 57's use different switches. Anyone out there got a 56 with electric convertible top willing to help?

Jim - What plane are the bends in with respect to one another? If I were to lay this wire down on a table with the eyelet end flat, would the 90 degree bend stick up or would it lay flat, sticking to one side? I assume the 90 degree bends form a U shape as opposed to a Z shape. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. There are two switches, one with a long toggle and one with a short toggle. The short toggle has a hole in it. Does the eyelet loop through the hole and if not how does the eyelet attach to switch bat?

                    Jim.
The wire is fed "Z" in first through the hole in toggle. The eyelet of the wire is large enough that it won't fit through the toggle. The "Z" part of the wire is fed into the clip on the top frame arm. I would suggest the clip not be mounted to the arm when feeding the "Z" part, easier that way. Also, I would strongly recommend that an adjustable test wire length be made so "your" correct length can be determined and then form your "Judges won't know you made it yourself" final wire. Regards,
