midyear headliner

Wow! No one responded to my headliner question. Am I to believe that no one has cleaned a headliner or tried to better the appearance. There has been alot of discussions on seatbelts. If anyone has any info please drop me a line.

I elected to replace the original headliner in my 67 with a repro. The original headliner had foam which had totally deteriorated and was crumbling when I removed it. I was very pleased with the match of the repro to the original material.

-----Ya know,Im not sure who repops headliners other than Al Knoch.Since Im sure hes been doing it longer than anyone else,and his are admitedly a little pricy(although very good quality)anyone else producing them would do it only if they could show a clear price advantage,ie;they are not as well made ,dont have as good a guarantee,etc.Buy from Al on this one.Just my opinion,coming from much experience..........Bill S

Jack, mine is an Al Knoch product. When I took the old one out, I compared it to the repro in full sunlight and I am pretty picky. It was an extremely close match and in the car it looks like an exact match. I was pleased.
